An Orgy in Chocolate

Felt like baking a cake today.

Dough:
  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 125g butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 250g sugar
  • 60g flour
  1. Hack the chocolate and melt it together with the butter in a water quench.
  2. Beat the egg yolk and the sugar foamy.
  3. Add the molten chocolate butter and the flour.
  4. Beat the egg white stiff and mix it under the dough.
  5. Pour the dough into a cake tin (30 cm long) and bake the cake at 200C for 45 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool and rest in the cake tin overnight.

Decoration:
  • 50g dark chocolate
  • 1 spoon of vegetable fat
  • vanilla ice cream
  1. Melt the chocolate and the vegetable fat in a water quench.
  2. Cut the cake into pieces and pour the molten chocolate over the pieces.
  3. Serve with the vanilla ice cream.
